The Business Case for Green Building
The World Green Building Council (WGBC) has released a
comprehensive report which highlights the large number of
compelling benefits green buildings bestow on different
stakeholders throughout the life cycle of a building. The
report is entitled "The Business Case for Green Building: A
Review of the Costs and Benefits for Developers, Investors and
Occupants' and examines whether or not it's possible to attach
a financial value to the cost and benefits of green buildings.

Abu Dhabi- The First Sustainable Mandate
2010 marked a significant milestone towards a transition to a more
sustainable built environment within Abu Dhabi, as the Estidama
Pearl Rating System (PRS) became a mandatory requirement for all
new developments within the Emirate. To date, the Estidama
Pearl Rating System (PRS) has initiated substantial changes in the
way the construction industry plans, designs and builds
developments across the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
